DONA Certified Birth Doula
Certified Lactation Educator Counselor
CAPPA trained Postpartum Doula
I have always loved working with people and empowering them to reach their full potential and achieve their goals. In 2011 I earned my Masters degree in Social Work. My experiences in Social Work have taught me how to meet you and your family where you are, mentally and emotionally, and provide you with knowledge, understanding, and empathy during your journey.
So.... Social Worker turned doula huh?
Well in 2011 I gave birth to my first baby, Noah, and the experience transformed me. My husband and I had taken Hypnobirthing and did a lot of reading and research about our options during pregnancy and birth. All of this new knowledge and confidence helped us to have a beautiful birth that left me feeling strong, empowered, and proud! After that, I became the "token natural birth mom" among my circle of friends and couples started calling me asking for advice and guidance. I loved talking to them about birth and sharing knowledge and resources with them, but I was always left wishing I could support them even further.
After my daughter, Quinn, was born in 2013 my mind was made up. I HAD to become a doula. Birth and babies are my passion and birth work is my calling.
I hope that I can be by your side to support and nurture you during your journey and help you to welcome your new baby.
